Photo Booth Hire Sydney CBD

Getting a booth into a city venue takes as much planning as running it. Loading docks, service lifts and a bump-in window that closes before guests arrive are the difference between a calm setup and a scramble.

Docks, lifts and bump-in windows

City venues run on schedules that belong to the building, not the event. Most towers and hotels want a dock booking, a nominated service lift and a bump-in that finishes before the room opens. We plan a CBD setup backwards from that: confirm the dock window and lift access with your venue, arrive inside it, and have the booth tested before the first guest walks in. If the room is only free an hour beforehand, we would rather say so when you book than discover it on the night.

Street parking is not part of the plan in the city. Loading zones are timed and usually metered, so the van works to the dock or the nearest legal zone and the kit comes in on trolleys.

Booths that fit a city footprint

Rooftop bars, hotel function rooms and office floors all trade floor space for a view or for capacity, so footprint is the first question here. The Open-Air Booth needs only a clear area near a power point and still gives a full backdrop and props setup, which makes it an easy fit for bars and office events. Where there is a real floor to work with, the 360 Booth earns its space, because guests gather around it and the queue becomes part of the night. The Glam and Mirror Booths suit hotel ballrooms where the styling is more formal.

Tell us which room you have been given and we will tell you which booth fits it.

What a corporate booking actually needs

City corporate events tend to share one constraint: the room is not free until late in the afternoon, and guests arrive not long after. That squeeze is why we ask for the dock and lift details up front, and it decides how early the van leaves Bondi Rd.

An attendant runs the booth on the night and is included with every hire, so nobody on your team has to mind a queue. A custom print template ($25) puts your logo and event branding on every print. Unlimited SMS delivery ($50) sends photos to guest phones while the event is still running rather than after it.

End-of-year functions, product launches, conferences and client evenings all book the same way: choose the hours, pay the deposit, and send the building details through when you have them.

Packages run 3, 4 or 5 hours from $799, with every price published on the site and travel included everywhere in Sydney, the CBD included. Lock the date with a $200 deposit and send us the dock booking once your building confirms it.

Hiring in Sydney CBD

Can you work around a building loading dock and bump-in window?

Yes. Send us the dock booking time, the lift you have access to and the hour the room is free, and we plan the run around them. City buildings rarely let a setup drift, so we build in enough time to be tested and ready before the first guest arrives.

How much space does a booth need in a city bar or rooftop?

Less than most people expect. The Open-Air Booth needs only a clear area near a power point, which suits rooftop bars and office floors where floor space is the constraint. We confirm the exact footprint with your venue first.

Can we put our company branding on the prints?

Yes. A custom print template is a $25 add-on that puts your logo and event branding on every print. We set the design before the day so nothing is rushed on site.
