Two halves that plan differently

North Sydney and Chatswood are office country, and their functions behave like city ones: a room inside a tower, a dock or service lift to get through, and a finish time the building enforces rather than suggests. Head further out and the North Shore becomes golf clubs, function centres, community clubs and garden venues, where access is easier and the event is more often a wedding, a milestone or a club night.

A tower booking is a question of lift access and bump-in times. A club or garden venue is a question of where the booth sits so it stays near the party and out of the weather.

Crossing before the traffic

A North Shore booking means the Harbour Bridge or the tunnel, and both have hours that punish a loaded van. We build the crossing into the schedule and leave Bondi Rd early enough to set up and test without rushing. Travel is included, as it is everywhere in Sydney.

When the building decides your finish time

Tower functions in North Sydney and Chatswood often finish earlier than the rest of the night suggests, because the building sets the hour the room has to be clear. That is worth knowing before you choose your hours, since a booking that starts late loses its tail to the lease instead of to the dance floor. We would rather arrive early and run the full time you paid for.

Out at the clubs and garden venues the opposite applies: more room to move, fewer access rules, and a night that runs as long as the venue allows.
