Bondi Booths (Bondi Rd, Bondi Junction NSW 2022) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through bondibooths.com.au and at our events, why we collect it, who we share it with and how you can access or correct it, in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

What we collect

We collect only what we need to respond to you and run your event:

Enquiries: your name, email, phone number, event date and type, booth interests and your message, when you submit the enquiry form, email us or call.
Bookings: the details above plus your venue, guest count, package selections and payment type, when you book online.
Payment details: card payments are processed by Stripe on Stripe’s secure checkout pages. We never see or store your card number.
Site analytics: none. This site currently runs no analytics, no advertising tags and no session-recording tools. We will update this policy before switching any of them on.

We do not collect sensitive information, and we ask you not to include any in your messages.

How we use it

We use your information to answer your enquiry, quote, confirm and run your booking, deliver your photos and receipts, and improve the site. We do not use it for unrelated purposes and we do not sell it. We only send marketing material if you have agreed to receive it, and any such email includes a working unsubscribe (Spam Act 2003).

We share personal information only with the service providers that make the site and bookings work, and only for those purposes:

Resend delivers our enquiry and booking notification emails.
Stripe processes card payments and issues receipts.
Mapbox powers the address suggestions in the booking form and the Sydney map on our contact page — it receives the address text you type, your map interactions if you open the interactive map, and your IP address, and nothing else.
Vercel hosts the website.

Some of these providers store data outside Australia, primarily in the United States (APP 8). We take reasonable steps to ensure they handle your information consistently with the APPs, and we disclose nothing beyond what each service needs.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own, and no analytics or advertising cookies at all. There is nothing to opt out of.

The one exception is on our contact page: if you choose to open the interactive map, Mapbox loads and may store data in your browser to cache map tiles. The map does not load unless you click it.

How long we keep it

Enquiry and booking correspondence is kept only as long as needed to serve you and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, then deleted. We do not keep a customer database on this website: form submissions travel by email and are not stored on the site’s servers.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, form submissions are validated and transmitted securely, and secrets are held in our hosting provider’s encrypted configuration. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps (APP 11) to protect what you share with us.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (APP 12 and 13). Email info@bondibooths.com.au or call 0420 767 185 and we will respond promptly.

If you believe we have mishandled your information and we cannot resolve your complaint, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our practices or the law change, and the date above always reflects the last review.
